Students will use these for practice and to host two robotic competitions. Jeff Farr requested funds to purchase two robotics portable competition fields and two sets of field tiles. Part of this subscription will be paid with site funds. A 3 year subscription saves about $1,800. Site funds are available to purchase this subscription but cannot be used for multi-year contracts. This will impact almost every sophomore and junior at FHS. Positive Physics is an online platform for all chemistry and physics students to get instant feedback as they work through problems. Paul Roundy requested funds to purchase a 3 year subscription to Positive Physics for all chemistry and physics teachers. Teachers will use them in class for daily writing and implementing book club and writer’s workshop curriculum. This will total 1800 notebooks ($2.12/each). Trevor Hershberger and Danielle Saul requested funds to purchase a 3-subject notebook for every student in every English class (less what the department budget can cover). The Ed Fund board meeting was held on Friday, May 12th, 2023 and the following items were approved. The Allocations team met at FHS on on Wednesday, May 10th and recommended the allocation of $55,850.27 for the following items.
